Ensamada Recipe

About ten years ago, a coworker used to make this Philippino dessert bread for sale to others in the office. They were shaped as buns and very eggy. They had butter and sugar spread on top. I can buy these at Goldilocks here in the SF bay area, but I just remember her's being so much better. Does any hound out there have a recipe for this bread? Better yet, can I adapt it to the bread machine to do the rising, etc. Much Much thanks. I've been craving this bread for the last year. Margret
