English-butchered bacon

mjr_inthegardens | Nov 13, 200302:09 PM     8

It is one of the great tragedies of my current existence that I cannot find English style bacon retail anywhere in the US.

I'm talking about nice thick, non-streaky, meaty, sweet life-fulfilling bacon not the messy, fatty (yet still tasty in it own right) American variety (oscar meyer, boars head etc etc).

Is there anywhere I can get proper English bacon in the US?

Tristate (NY-NJ-CT) would be perfect but I could order too.

ps full disclosure I found a place on the web in NC but I don't want to order a metric ton and their shipping prices are outrageous
