Ended up at Haikara for the big anniversary

It was convenient location wise for far as the more upscale restaurants...and I liked that there was more vegetarian than Prime Grill.

Needless to say, we were unimpressed.

It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer, then another 45 minutes to get our food....It wasn't especcially busy. Just noisy due to many people using their cell phones.

Very overpriced. We got a chicken appetizer. My husband got the mixed grill and and I got a vegetable over rice dish. Not much flavor in either dish. They never gave us our salads. The miso was not good.
The meat was the right doneness, but didn't have much flavor...I make it better at home.

Then the kicker...they don't take cred cards...only AmEx....or personal checks. Restaurants that are that expensive like that need a huge sign in the window with the only card they take. There were several people loudly grumbling to their waiters as well.

Part of me really wants to call up and complain about the whole experience. I would have faired better in several other places.
