One of my International Chowhound Travel Buddies who I've nibbled my way though Asia, Europe with, just went to ENCORE RESTAURANT in the ST REGIS Century City and had what he describes as an UNBELIEVABLE meal(I trust him completely but as a C.H. I must eat there myself, soon, I was planning on going Mon but I'll be at JOSIE'S, (prior commitment). The chef is BRUNO DAVAILLON from restaurants in Paris(LASSERRE) and London(TANTE CLAIRE). The Tasting Menu consists of: Amuse Bouche, Diver Scallop, Duck Foie Gras, Dover Sole, Roasted Duck Breast, Choco Tarte w/orange sorbet,almond tuille, Petits Fours. All this for Seventy Five Dollars!!!! I'll go tue.
