Emile Henry Lids Not Fitting Tightly

estherchung82 | Dec 19, 201711:01 PM     5

I recently bought an Emile Henry 4L Round Stewpot and an Emile Henry 6L Oval Stewpot, and both of their lids jiggle so much that if i walk with the pot in my hands, you can hear the lid clanking against the pot!

I've done some investigation, and after setting the lids on my counter tops to check that they're flat, I've concluded that the lip of the pots dips down slightly on one side causing the lid to sit unevenly on the pot. Both of the pots seem to have the exact same problem.

I would like ask the online retailer to replace them for me, but not if this is the case with all Emile Henry pots! If they're all going to be like this, then I would just ask for a return/refund.

So, for those of you who own Emile Henry stewpots (or any other pot with a lid), do your lids sit flat against the lip of your pots, or do they jiggle???
