Last weekend I had dinner at Emeril's in the MGM Grand. Dessert was the bourbon chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse and sweet cherry compote. Cake and mousse nothing special but the cherry compote was amazing - tiny sweet cherries that popped in the mouth! I'd love to recreate this compote, either from scratch or store-bought (Whole Foods, TJs, or??) Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
