My wife has a big old vat of pasta with a butter-nut squash sauce. Now we need something protein-ey to make a complete pre-simchas torah dinner. i looked thru a couple of marcella hazan books because she has the best first/second course combo's, but saw nothing about squash or pumpkin.
anyone have some quick suggestions? (and I mean quick, if it's a slow cooked roast, well maybe it would work for left-overs tomorrow)
