Emerald Isle/Morehead City/Beaufort Area

It has been at least a decade since I've been to the Atlantic Beach area and am looking for recommendations of places to eat for various meals throughout a long weekend. It will be 2 families with a total of 3 kids. All kids are pretty good eaters and can share what parents are having and so it is not required that the restaurant have a separate kids menu, but I won't disregard them. No particular cuisine in mind. The only discretion is against spicy food. Please don't give posts for New Bern and such as I know the stops in that area and between here and there.
