I'm a little scared after reading the "Oysters and Beer" post below, but...
My boyfriend just received a FedEx delivery of 25 oysters from the Dean & DeLuca catalog--a gift from his sister. There is no way that the two of us can consume 25 oysters in one sitting... 6 each is about or limit.
I thought of making oyster bisque but he's just announced that he has "soup issues" and doesn't like certain creamy soups. Does anyone have any other ideas of some sort of yummy cooked oyster dish that we could make, which would maybe keep for a few days? Epicurious was rather unhelpful.
Also, how soon do you think we need to eat these oysters? Right now they're well-packed and in the refrigerator.
