Went to the newly opened Elements last night. I must start out by saying I was a big fan of Tea Tray. Elements is defintely a step up. They put a much needed divider down the middle of the dining room so it breaks up the big room it used to be.

I opted to sit at the bar and had 3 apps, each with a different glass of wine. The 1st was the softshell with a corn and chipotle salsa. It's' great to be able to get fresh softies. I had the Big Fire Pinot Gris and it went great with the heat from the chipotle. Definitely a winner.

2nd was the chanterelle and rock shrimp risotto. Plenty of chanterelles and the rock shrimp plump and juicy. Paired with Wolf Blass Riesling. Another winner.

Finally I had the Quail with pancetta and a turnip rosti. The Quail could have been a little more crispy but the turnip made up for that. With this I had a Chilean Pinot Noir I can't remember but overall the dish was a winner.

The menu looks like it's a little cheaper. My tab was $51.00 with a glass of port. Can't wait to go back and try some Entrees.
