Hi there. I made some Elderberry Jam for the second time and this last batch looks like it has mold across some of the berries on the top. I am confused if it is mold or if it is the white that is usually on the elderberries to begin with. I used the old fashioned method of just the berries, lemon juice and sugar. This batch I used frozen berries. Any ideas? I know I can just skim it off the top but was curious anyway. Thank you for any ideas.
