I recently read an article somewhere that El Tepyec (?) near U.S.C. in Los Angeles is still around after all these years?

My friends went to college in Southern California around 1970. On one of my visits, they all wanted to eat dinner there.

I was about 170 lbs. then, and they dared me to eat this huge special burrito as big as a football. If you could polish it off, the owner would give it to you free.

Amid mouths agape, I ate the whole thing plus finished a couple of tacos off my friends plate, too. Didn't seem like a big deal to me. Young and stupid, I guess.

Boy, those were the days. Two or three Top Dogs with sauerkraut at UC Berkeley, pig-outs that would kill me today, even though I'm a "few" pounds heavier today.
But I'm older and wiser, right? Well, right?????
