El Papi Torta Truck, various NoVa locations

Steve | Jun 13, 201909:16 AM

Everyone likes to hear about awful food experiences, right? As long as you don't have to eat the stuff, you're good. Well, this is good, and by 'good' I mean bad. Really bad.

I decided on the milanesa do pollo torta, and what I was served had little bearing on what the phrase actually means. I received chicken thigh 'tenders' that were slimy, chewy, and awkward, served with too much mayo on a super soft roll. I guess there was some breading to these deformed chunks, but this milanesa is torta non grata in the city of Milan. This is one of the worst things I've been served. I spit it out and threw the rest away.
