The cuban sandwich was quite enjoyable, although I made the mistake of automatically saying "yes" when they asked "do you want everything on it?" Turns out that "everything" included lettuce and tomato, which sort of shifted the balance away from the pork (nice roasted slices and stripes of bacony ones). Loved the thinness of the pressed bread, thought the pickles were only ok and would be even happier with more cheese (probably because I has all that lettuce in the way). A bit drippy with the sauce and heavyhanded with mustard/mayo when a minimalist approach might have been better. A good deal after mentally substracting the LT.
The morir sonando/"To die screaming"/orange milk was great -- fresh orange juice brightly and amply evident. It's like drinking sunshine. (Not bad, considering that was my second choice -- they didn't have sugarcane juice.)
Had a soft spot for the warm rolls they served with butter. Simple and feathery.
Stick a spoon in the flan and it stays upright. Gotta love flan that dense.
