Egg Nog Recipe for Sweet Pea

Here's our family recipe, hope you like it!

12 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup bourbon
1 cup brandy
3 cups half and half
1 qt heavy cream
nutmeg and cinnamon

Whip eggs with electric mixer, gradually adding sugar, for about 5 minutes until thickened.
Stir in bourbon and brandy.
Beat heavy cream until soft peaked. Fold into egg mixture. Stir in half and half.
Refrigerate overnight.
Stir gently before serving and garnish with spices.

As you can see, it's not diet food, but we splurge once a year anyway. Enjoy.
