Ecuadorian restaurant

Finally, a restaurant that serves authentic ecuadorian dishes close to home. I recently came across El Aventurero restaurant in Gaithersburg. The restaurant serves mainly Mexican dishes but on the weekends and if you order 1 day in advance you can have your choice of just about any Ecuadorian delicacy. Upon entering, you are graciously greeted by the owner who will offer you the menu listing several typical Ecuadorian dishes. I ordered the hornado and la frita, both perfectly made. It's a great reassurance to know that there is finally a restaurant close to home serving great food. Hopefully, the restaurant will last and the public will support it, preventing it from going under, as so many others have done in the past.
