Eazy Eats is Awesome Carribean Eats

I’ve tried Eazy Eats on Broadview a few times now and really enjoyed it every time. I heard it recommended on CBC’s Beyond Burgers and, since it’s close to home, I gave it a try and I haven’t been disappointed. I’ve had the jerk chicken twice and the oxtail once, and they were great; lots of lovely dark, rich flavours, but no huge fiery heat. Even the coleslaw-—normally a soggy little afterthought-—was full of currants and snappy crunch. The décor is nothing fancy, but neither are the prices—a regular jerk chicken dinner, with rice and beans (mmm, really good rice and beans) and coleslaw is $8 and a large is $9. And they have a few types of bottled beer to wash it all down.

Eazy Eats is at 759 Broadview Ave, and it’s Open everyday except Sunday. You can hear the CBC review here: or just click below, if I've put in the link correctly. The review is about a third of the way down the page.

It’s never very crowded in there and it deserves to be, so check it out if you’re interested in trying some good Caribbean food or just something different.
