I know this is a broad question, and I have gotten some information from the wonderful boards here, but here is the situation. I am going to NOLA in late Sep for a business convention where I will be working an undetermined amount of hours (at a convention), and an undetermined schedule, so I can't make reservations. My wife is coming with me, and we have not had a vacation away from the kids before (over 4 years). I want to make the dining special. I am willing to splurge a bit, but have to look for bargains where I can (early birds, etc.). We are staying Tuesday Night (late) through Sunday afternoon. I would love suggestions on locations and signature dishes. Here is my MUST list so far (although I don't know if I will get to it all) - I would appreciate any other suggestions...
