Eating in or around Tsukiji Market

sophielu | Feb 23, 201504:01 AM     16

We're making our first trip to Japan in April. I guess visiting Tsukiji Market is a must. I'm not interested in the Tuna auction. I'm wondering what is there to see at the market. Also, where to eat? I'm not going to wait in line for hours. Just wondering what the options are. Are there stalls where we can just pick up sashimi or sushi to go inside the market? Or somewhere close by to get the really fresh stuff without the wait. I don't mind paying more to skip the wait.
