This artilce is a bit gushy and thin on details, but it values an aspect of eating and food culture in Italy that many people (I hope!) will want to explore: the home tradition of Italian cooking, which is some of most delicious food I've ever eaten. While the article focuses on Bologna, a traveler just about anywhere in Italy can find similar programs and opportunities to eat in an Italian home by doing some research on the internet. It adds an entirely different dimension to one's appreciation of Italy and food, and food culture the world over, and is a more rewarding way to eat in Italy than restaurant check-lists
