Hi all. 3 guys from CT here about to drive down to Lancaster at the end of June. We're staying near Lapps, and we always eat there for lunch one day (tradition) but usually we just go for day trips and the like...this trip we're staying in the area 3 full days. So we're looking for good, moderately priced Pennsylvania Dutch type places to eat, perhaps a little bit more off the beaten path than your average touristy places, since we're gonna have quite a bit more time than usual.
We're also big coaster buffs and are going to Hershey for one day. For an amusement park the food isn't bad at all but instead of spending the entire day, we'd rather get a few rides in the morning, go eat in the afternoon and then come back for some night rides. Any suggestions for anything interesting or remarkable or unusual within an easy drive of the park?
