Eating our faces off, any suggestions?

Jenlovesfood | Nov 19, 201409:47 AM     50

So this might not be the healthiest endeavor, but it will be very emotionally satisfying! My wife and I live 2 hours north of the city, and basically we decided to treat ourselves to a day of just going food nutso in NYC. The goal is to spend around 200 bucks and just hit several places that have the most amazing whatever!

It's been so long since we've actually had the time to spend doing something like this...you know...quality time doing something totally fun without breaking the bank, because truth be told, we're kinda broke.

The plan is to hit 4-6 places maybe stick to Brooklyn and Manhattan. What are your favorite places sort of quick and on the cheap? Donuts, pizza, Asian, experimental--any and all of your suggestions are welcome! Although I'm a born and bred NYC person, I've been pretty out of the loop for the past several years since I've lived up here in the sticks, so your recommendations would truly be a gift and appreciated. Thank you in advance, fellow eaters.
