Eating in Chiang Mai

Aynat62 | Aug 5, 201705:27 PM

I posted this question to the general Thailand board....there doesn't seem to be a lot of site traffic for I'll try in the Bangkok board as well.....

This was my question:

I'm planning a 7 night trip to Chiang Mai for early November 2017....Loy Krathong and Mae Ping festivals. I'll be solo and this will be my first time to Thailand.

There is an amazing amount of places to eat in CM, I'm having a hard time finding info and deciding where I should eat. There is no board specifically for CM so hopefully there'll be some readers with experience in CM.

I like a mixture of cheap and cheerful (street food too) plus one or two nights at a special, more up-market restaurant.

These are what I have found so far, that might be good. I'd love some opinions on whether they're good, bad or ugly, or whether anything else should be considered in their place.....
