I'm never eating in Alejo's again ...

It's just not worth it.

Yeah, they have good spaghetti. And good meatballs.

But, c'mon ...

We walked in and put our name on the list.

We were waiting for a table of four.

We were the only people on the list. Next.

And no one would leave. Literally half the restaurant sitting there with their check on the table and no one leaving. And no one saying anything. And no one coming over to tell us how long the wait will be.

And individuals coming in and grabbing single seats so that when someone finally leaves, there are no spots for four, only for two.

Stood there 30 minutes. No one said a word to us. Just ignored us.

It's good spaghetti. But not worth being treated like that.

The truth is, they live off their rep and can treat people like crap and they don't have to worry. The restaurant isn't comfortable, it's loud, they service isn't that good when you don't have to wait, I hate their wooden chairs and it's in a strip mall with no parking.

We just wanted some spaghetti and meatballs. We'll find another place.

(And -- you know what -- the food isn't as good as it used to be ... it was better five, even ten years ago.)
