I'm looking for a place to go with a group of 6 in November. Two in the group are not all that adventurous and run away screaming at the mention of foie gras on a menu.
I was looking at Eater's Manhattan Heatmap and saw that Marc Forgione opened American Cut but I don't recall ever seeing it discussed on CH. We recently had an excellent dinner at Marc Forgione and my husband would be thrilled to have that chili lobster again.
Also, I'm wondering about Quality Italian. My gut is telling me to stay away, but not sure why.
Any thoughts on these places? Thanks.
