Has anyone here eaten at Isaac's Cafe in Maplewood?

I had lunch there today and Kathie Jenkins of the Pioneer Press is right, this place is good. I too am not particularly fond of the high tables with high stools kind of seating, but the food is terrific.

Isaac's is a salad, soup and sandwich place and the food is good and priced reasonable as well. I had the pork loin sandwich with prosciutto and fontina with fries. It was all good. My friend had the Reuben and was equally pleased. We were in the area and decided to stop in for a late lunch.

I only wish it was more convenient for frequent return visits. If any of you live, work or drive through that part of Maplewood, give it a try, I'm sure you'll be pleased as well.

(I sound like I'm shilling for the place. In a way I am. I would like to see them thrive as opposed to another Applebee's or TGIFriday's).
