Where to eat in Westlake Village?

Hal Silverman | Jan 28, 2002 04:00 PM

I am new to the area of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village in particular, and have found no deccent places to eat. When I ask the locals, they will all say "Tuscany". But I find the place to have B- food (at best) with A+ prices.

Pan e Vino in L.A. and in Montecito are my favorite Italian places. And A&W Seafood in Recida is my favorite Chinese restaurant.

All I need is a good Chinese place and a good Italian place within 10 miles of Westlake Village and I'd be in heaven. I just know there MUST be some places out here that I have not discovered.

I also love Thai food (like Chan Dara) and Japanese food. And a great steak joint would also be very welcome.

Westlake Village is otherwise a great place to live. But I'm getting pretty sick of going out for mediocre boring meals.

Recommendations please.
