Where to eat for a few nights in Asti, and near Turin train station

shliz | Jul 4, 201803:00 PM     3

Hi all, I've been following Allende and others' posts about Piemonte, and am excited to try some new places, but don't see many tips for where to eat and drink very well in Asti itself. Any favorites in town? We'll have a car, but since we are both working- and want to be able to have wine with dinner- prefer a place within Asti itself (in early August). I do remember a lovely wine bar with good food from a few years ago, but also can't find the name.

Also, if you had one lunch to eat alone in Turin, near the train station and with a bag, where would it be?

Thanks in advance for ideas!
