Eat Meat - (chow event) - Picada and El Llano

Vital Information | Dec 10, 200208:42 PM

Well, I have been threatening this for months, but with the dead of winter deadening, I thought we need to eat some meat.

Join me and guests for a carnivores delight at the mysterious El Llano--you've been reading about it for ages, now give it a try. The date is 12/28. Shall we say 7 pm.

El Llano is a small place. I do not know how many people can fit. Depending if their is high interest, I might have to cut off the number who can participate, so e-mail soon if you are interested.

We will order the picada, it is an assortment of grilled meats and starches. In addition, we might also order a frittura which is a mixed of greasy and fatty things. I have to say upfront, this is not a vegetarian friendly kind of place unless you can make a meal out of yucca and plaintain.

El Llano is BYOB and it is a peferct opportunity to drink all those trendy reds like Shiraz's and Malbecs.
