This question is about people who only eat food cooled in kosher pots with kosher utensils.
I'd like to spend a little longer in India. In places remote from Chabad houses (which are wonderful resources on Shabbat, and can send food if you're nearby.)
Question 1.) if you know of an appealing tour, or had a good experience with a kosher tour operator, please share.
Question 2.) Has anyone hired a cook/driver, a vegan who could drive us around, with a cooking kit in the boot of the car, and produce or supervise hotel kitchen preparation of vegan meals?
Explanation: 1.) It's a drag to schlep around enough jerky/kosher certified nuts for a long trip. Ditto for cooking on a hotplate in the room when you want to be out seeing Rajahstan or Udaipur.
2.) Some of the tour operators that advertise independent kosher tours actually merely book you a hotel near Chabad for Shabbat, and expect you to eat vegan/veggie in restaurants on the other days.
