The charming annual Holiday Train Show at the beautiful New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx is underway thru Jan. 15th, 2018! We attended a members preview last week and it was lovely! Great for the young and the young at heart.
We do get hungry after our walk thru NYBG, so where do we eat? First of all, there have been upgrades made to the food concessions at the park by Starr Events. The casual Pine Tree Café and Hudson Garden Grill, which now offers table service, are definitely worthwhile.
After our preview, we ended up on nearby Arthur Ave. and had lunch at our long-time favorite: Mario's Restaurant. We are planning to return with more family as the season progresses. Any other dining suggestions within close proximity to the park? www.nybg.org
