How do you eat corn on the cob?

I think most people eat corn on the cob by holding it at each end and gnawing on it going round and round.
Try this method: Before going into the boiling water/steamer/grill cut the cobs into 1 1/2"-2" slices. When the corn is ready eat the 'slices' 'top to bottom' or 'bottom to top'. You'll find you get A LOT more of the corn kernel this way. In other words eat the slices from the top of the tree downwards or the other way around instead of eating the tree going 'around' the trunk.
Also easier to serve/plate also.
