Where to eat Cantonese seafood wok-hay? - 2018 Oct. edition

scherz0 | Oct 30, 201810:38 PM     8

Are there any other equivalents to Ming Cuisine or Omei Restaurant offering at least the same quality, in Markham, North York, or Richmond Hill? Cleanliness and food quality are most important, not décor or fanciness. We'd shun formal restaurants like Casas Imperial and Victoria as they charge more. Yelp feels untrustworthy, as they rank all these restaurants poorly?

I loathe Maple Yip as they love to hard-sell and misrepresent their products. Once, a waiter said that their fresh scallops were $5/pc, but then charged us $10/pc. He "apologized" for his misspeaking, but he lost our trust.

I originally asked this at https://www.chowhound.com/post/eat-ca..., but some of those restaurants have closed.
