I prefer quick and easy over taste maximization and a friend recently told me he's been cooking rice and chicken together in a rice cooker, along with steamed vegetables (Carrots and broccoli), all in one pass. He says the chicken fully cooks. He uses ketchup or hot sauce as a flavor enhancer.
I want to keep things simple but I'm also open to ideas on how to make this taste better. I'm trying to cut down on my meat intake which cuts down on flavor as well, so any flavor additions would be welcome, preferably store-bought options, thanks.
