Easy & Delicious Way to Make Quiche At Home

Bonniezepeda | Mar 28, 202001:58 PM

Recently everyone is passing a bad time due to COVID19. We all are at home quarantine now. But whatever is happening we need to cook and eat to live. I want to share an easy and shortcut recipe that we can prepare at home easily with simple ingredients.

We can have it in our breakfast or as snacks with our family while passing the quarantine time by gossiping. So I will give a recipe for making quiche easily at home. This is my mom’s favorite.

Ingredients You Need:
The ingredients you need to make the quiche are easier to found and most of them are the regular products of your home. So make a list of them now.
1. Pie Crust: You can also make it at home or you can buy it from a shop. I prefer making it at home because you will get a genuine flavor when you make this at home.
2. Heavy cream & Milk: I always mix them by half and half. It gives a very tasty flavor.
3. Eggs: In my recipe, you have to use 4 eggs per cup of milk.
4. Salt & Pepper: If you want to have a plain quiche, then use salt. But if you use some add-in like cheese, there is no need for salt.

So now lets’ make it. This is my favorite and I am so excited to share this with you.

Way to cook:

Step 1: So at first you have to blind bake your pie crust. It means to bake the pie crust without filling it.

Step2: If you want to include the add-in, prepare those. You can add cooked meats, mushrooms, vegetables, cheese, etc.

Step 3: Now make a mixture of egg, cream, milk and beat together properly. Then you can put the add-ins.

Step 4: After that, pour this mixture into the crust and bake it until it is set properly. It will take 45 to 50 minutes.

Finally, the quiche is ready. Let it cool at room temperature for a few moments. Then cut it and serve to your family.

Sometimes we have leftovers and we don’t know what to do it with this. To know how to store and reheat quiche you can visit kitchengeeky.

This is a very simple recipe. If you want or you have some more things, you can make it a little more special. Like you can add goat cheese, cooked cubed ham, bacon, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed chopped asparagus, chopped fresh parsley, etc.

You can stick to 1/2 or 1 cup of cheese and up to 2 cups of vegetables and meat add-ins. These will make the quiche more delicious.

So these are all the things for you. I hope you will try this at home.

Happy cooking and Stay safe!!!!!
