East side eats (Broadview to Victoria Park)

Hello all, I'm fairly new to this forum and want to know about good restaurants on the east side of town. I've been living here in the Coxwell / Queen area for 3+ years now and still find myself making the trek across town to the west to find good restaurants. So far, my only east side regulars are: King's Park Souvlaki, Messini, Grumbles Deli, Bonjour Brioche, Motimahal, sometimes 7 numbers or Gio Rana's and Tango Palace Coffee Co and Ed's Real Scoop.

I would love to find a good: South Chinese restaurant, shawarma place, reasonably priced sushi restaurant, North Indian restaurant, great shawarma place.

I have tried quite a few spots over the years so far that just don't cut it (in my opinion - Aki Da, Queen Pita, Lahore Tikka, Pearl Court to name a few)

Thanks in advance!
