Five of us tried out the Hong Kong cuisine at this Rockville Pike eatery, a medium-sized place in a small strip of shops.
soyed chicken, spicy shimp dumplings Hong Kong style, eggplant in garlic sauce, a whole rockfish battered and fried with a black bean sauce, seafood crispy noodles, pig skin with turnips.
None of the food was particularly interesting, mostly oily and a bit bland. I was particularly disappointed with the black bean sauce, and the batter on the fish seemed like the oil was not hot enough.
East Pearl is no Grace Garden.
