East Memphis, Kinda Upscale But Not Too Much

marais | Sep 19, 201704:26 PM     1

Hi all, Boston hound and native NashVegan will be visiting my aunt and cousin in East Memphis next month. The Aunt could eat and go anywhere but Asian, the Cuz is kinda blue-jeansy and doesn't like things too fancy. Any recs for a good dinner place in East Memphis with an atmosphere that my Cuz will accept? Since I'm paying, any price range is OK, but the venue does need to be sit-down with cocktails (for my sake at least). American Southern/French/Italian/steakhouse venues would work - I guess Buckley's is still there on Poplar but I'd love more options. Thanks in advance for your hep'!
