East Manor is finally open!!

WOW - it was worth the wait! I had never been inside the building before so was stunned at the opulence - and our hostess told us the new massive fountain area on the second floor(which was the only area open yesterday) was added by the new owners. But the food - WOW - they are only doing buffet for now - menu dining to follow. $15.00 at lunch, 30.00 at dinner with lobster available for $2.00 more at dinner.. Raw bar available only at dinner for now. There are stations for everything - Peking Duck, Cold items (about 25), Deep Fried items (about 15) BBQ, Sushi, Sauteed foods (great vegetables), Desserts, Fresh Fruit, Prepared entrees like General Tsaos etc. and even a small tempura station. It is just outstanding the number of selections. Everything fresh - they do not put out huge amounts but constantly replenish so everything is just right.
I did not ask for a wine list but had a fine Pinot Grigio by the glass and Bill had Chinese beer. Very attentive service - plates cleared quickly when you went for more - which we did 3 times. Take out and gift shop to follow.2 Function rms.
Traditional Chinese Music provided by a 3 piece group was a nice touch. Plenty of parking and Valet available.
