tried east india grill on la brea?

yeah, i was hesitant--it seemed like a watered down, Americanized indian joint. I should have known, however, that posh La Brea blvd. wouldn't sustain a merely mediocre indian resturant. their chicken tikka masala is the most creamy, full-flavored incarnation of the dish i have ever encountered. i also ordered the shrimp naan (shrimp naan?!) with garlic on top, and i can safely describe this as a devine breadstuff. the menu isn't all too expansive, though this can be a mixed blessing, as it duly simplifies the ordering process. i fully recomend this joint to all. la brea near beverly...west side of the the by, anybody try bombay cafe on pico in west la? i hear good things, but have never tried it myself...
