Jonathan Kauffman reviewed it today. He liked the goat curry and the oxtail He also liked Ting and the Sorrel :-)

There is some nice background info. Loved the description of the jerk chicken which he said

"Loughlin's jerk marinade, which caramelizes on the skin into a dark brown, clumpy crust, isn't exactly sweet, not in the way some people sweeten jerk. There's more to it than that. You can catch some allspice in the beautifully complex marinade, and some thyme, but the first and last thing you'll notice is the hot peppers"

Yeah. That was it. He's so right about that allspice. Also a nice summary of the black cake

"a rum-soaked descendant of British plum pudding that blurs the lines between custard and cake, dessert and after-dinner cocktail"
