Eagles Deli - reopened

Total gut renovation. Counter is now in rear, much nicer seating, no chance the place will spontaneously combust from grease explosion. Order at counter and they bring you the food.

I ate lunch there today - Monday 1/25 - and the food was improved. I had a 5 napkins worth juicy King Kong (1/2lb) burger with crispy fries and a Dr. Pepper. Those were the 1st crispy, hot fries I've had there. They cooked the burger accurately to medium rare, which is also nearly a first for Eagles. I really enjoyed the burger. It was seriously good. I could have another right now.

The menu board lists all the old, ridiculous stuff, like the 2 lbs of hot dog + 1 lb of fries for $13.75. The largest challenge is the 5lbs of burger one so I guess the story that this was conquered is false. Or the person's gravitational mass reached critical and he (it?) became a black hole and disappeared from the perceivable universe.
