Durham Green Flea Market

bbqme | May 7, 201812:27 PM     3

My son and I visited here yesterday and what a thrill! It was like we were transported to a mercado in Mexico. All sorts of food, clothing, and produce vendors. We lunched on lengua, chorizo, and al pastor tacos on freshly handmade tortillas and salsa in the biggest molcahete I've ever seen. For dessert, my kid got a respado (snow cone) with homemade tamarind, mango, and Chamoy syrups with chili powder. We also bought carnitas and longanisa fresh out of the fryer to take home for dinner.
