Tried this last night - it is beside the West End Wine Bar. It's a great addition to downtown Durham, and our last meal at Mothers and Sons pa!ed in comparison.
Started with the Tuscan pate and it was very good. Moved to an antipasti of creamed mushrooms in a sherry sauce. Hubby loves shrooms, and these were very tasty. For a primi, we had one of their signature fresh pastas, the truffle tajarin. It was the star of the show- couldn't believe how good it was. For entrees went with the porchetta, and it was also quite good. We shared everything, which worked well.
The service was impeccable also, and the wine list was very well put together. Can't recommend this enough!
