Good thing or bad thing?
DD is nowhere near as good as the new wave of gourmet doughnuts, or a few really old places (e.g., Bob's). But I like DD's yeast doughnuts better than the ones from mom and pop places that use industrial mixes (e.g., http://www.yourbakemark.com/brands_pr... ). They're also smaller. Plus, the better DD locations have a larger variety of filled doughnuts than is typical of the Bakemark places.
