Okay, here's the deal--while I covet the Kitchenaid with a meat grinder attachment, it's just not happening right now. I spied an old Moulinex meat grinder/salad shredder in a consignemt shop--mint condition, with all its bits in the proper slots, bilingual instructions, etc. My question is this--how do you get the ground meat into the casings? Should you be able to hook the casings onto the machine to fill them, or do you have to stand there with a funnel and stuff? How does it work with a Kitchenaid in case I decide to save my pennies for that?
