Quick trip to La Palma this morning to pick up a couple things. Saw the guy behind the counter preparing a large bowl of delicious looking Caldo de Res for a customer. I looked away and missed the part I was wondering about ... where do the customers go to eat? The dish that was being prepared was not a to go plate ... so I assume that the guy ate it nearby somewhere, unless it was a neighbor with the inside track?
Is there a back room or something like that that I have missed?
BTW, regarding paletas (it's all about the paletas this week), La Palma has a low freezer with several choices of La Michoacana paletas. Nothing homemade or non-mass produced that I could see. The search continues ...
