Dulce Jamoncillo?

This is a Mexican confection made by cooking and stirring (for a very long time time) evaporated milk and a quantity of sugar. (Maybe vanilla too.) The result is like fudge in consistency. It can be rolled into logs and cut in candies. Google was no help at all. It mostly likely comes from the Chihuahua area. I'm looking for proportions of milk to sugar.
