I'm making duck for Thanksgiving (thanks to you 'hounds, I've got my roasting pan and have a good idea how to use it) and I have a question.
I had originally planned for a roasted winter squash soup as a starter and maple glazed sweet potatoes as a side. My husband doesn't like either of those, so now I'm substituting redskin potatoes in with some other roasted vegetables.
I'd like to have a soup, though, and preferably another side dish that's a little sweet. Anyone have a rec on what would go well with duck?
