With the closure of Harbor Village in SF's Embarcadero Center, the chance to grab a bite at the SFO outpost was one of things I was looking forward to before my flight out of the international terminal.
The duck was even better than my previous sampling, a more generous serving and tender of flesh. As before, the skin was damp, presumably from a turn in the microwave to reheat it. The broth was pristine again and the noodles fine and wirey. It was even more of a pleasure now that this can't be ordered downtown any more.
This lunch set me back about ten bucks. There was a transportation surcharge, as I had to take a cab to the airport instead of BARTing in order to have enough time to grab lunch. Still, it was worth it.
